Description:
This CNC Honeycomb Core Stretching & Cutting Machine is a specialized solution for manufacturing expanded honeycomb cores used in composite panels (e.g., for doors, RV floors, marine partitions). The process begins with manual adhesive application on honeycomb strips, assisted by pneumatic cylinders for alignment. The material then passes through three sets of rubber roller stretching units, which ensure uniform and stable expansion of the honeycomb cells (sizes from 4mm to 15mm, heights from 6mm to 20mm). A high-speed blade precisely cuts the stretched honeycomb core to preset lengths controlled by the touchscreen HMI. Finally, the cut cores are automatically stacked onto a pallet, with a maximum stacking height of 1 meter. With a stretching speed of 3-10 m/min and a compact 5KW power consumption, this machine is ideal for producing high-quality honeycomb cores for lightweight, high-strength sandwich panels.
